What types of workshops does DSS offer?

Digital Scholarship Services (DSS) is a department in the Libraries that offers a range of different workshops, webinars, and other types of instruction on topics such as foundational coding skills, research data management, digital humanities and scholarly publishing.
Our instruction generals falls into the following categories:
Programming Workshops
Audience: All UCI affiliates with a UCINetID
Topics change every quarter and may include: Python, R, Unix, Version Control with Git
Quarter-long workshops delivered asynchronously online in Canvas
Registration required / UCINetID required
Optional "Certificate of Completion" at the end of the course
Self-Paced Online Courses
Audience: All UCI affiliates with a UCINetID
Topics include: Geospatial Data, Open Refine, and Social Sciences Data
Open all year long
Delivered asynchronously online in Canvas
Completely self-paced, no end-date, no certificate of completion
Webinars and Information Sessions
Audience: Depends on the topic
Topics vary, but may include research data management and planning, data publishing and preservation, digital research methods, digital humanities, scholarly publishing
