How can I create permanent identifiers for my research objects/products?

Answer

Persistent identifiers, such as DOIs or ARKs, ensure your research products are citable and discoverable over time. DPDS can assist in identifying the appropriate resource that assigns persistent identifiers for your research products, such as:

  • Dryad Data Repository for data and software code
  • EZID for research objects, such as text, data, and terms
  • eScholarship for preprints, working papers, seminar series, and previously published articles
